Women Transforming the Arts (WTA) was established by the Crystal Quilt for women who are building careers in dance, theatre, music, and film/video, to help them develop a sense of community within their fields, increase the opportunities available to them, and challenge the barriers that women in particular face in the performing arts. WTA programs will emphasize peer support and mentoring, networking and information sharing, raising awareness, and showcasing women's work.
